Tiny Activist Project

The Tiny Activist Project pays respect to women of the past and presents a fun way to spread preservation/planning awareness.

Fusing my passion for D.I.Y projects and desire highlight lesser known historical figures, I created the Tiny Activist Project*. Launched  in 2017, the Tiny Activist Project began with Tiny Jane. Tiny Jane pays homage to Jane Jacobs and encourages younger audiences to learn about the history of planning.

Project Highlights Include:

  • Scholarships for five emerging professionals to attend PastForward in 2017 and 2018
  • Partnership with the Latinos in Heritage Conservation for a TBA Latina community activist doll.

* A special thank you to Shannon May for being project illustrator.
